As a new mom-to-be, I appreciate hearing from someone who doesn’t always make having children seem amazing. Sometimes, being pregnant is miserable but I do love my baby and appreciate that I can carry my child. I know there will be times where I feel like this as well. It is a nice reminder that life is not always perfect but sometimes we need to take a step back and remember that no phase lasts forever.

Mine are all putting themselves to bed these days and are bathing or helping to bathe my grandchildren, and my oldest grandchild just turned 16 and has a learner’s permit!!! Don’t know how in the world that happened. Just happy for you that you can reflect on it while you are in the moment and not let it slip by unnoticed.

The moments fly so quickly. My baby agreed to walk me down the aisle this Saturday when I am marry a man he likes a lot. I remember the tubs, the high chairs, the tantrums and still I smile and wish I could do it all again…will have to wait for those grand babies…but please not yet!!!
