I too know what it is like to lose a baby before you get to hold him/her. My husband and I have lost 3 little ones in the past 3 years. Our first one was at 6 weeks along, the second at 8 weeks along and the third, our little girl Mia Joy at only 12 weeks. We had lots of testing done to find out why, but no answers to give us closure. We are still trying in hopes to have just one more. The want is so strong and has never ceased. I pray often to our Lord. I know He is in control. And only thru Him will we conceive again. We currently have 4 girls, two teens and two toddlers and we pray for the Lord to bless us with a son. At this moment we only care about having a health full term baby. We have three beautiful grandmothers who are playing with our three beautiful angels until mommy and daddy get there to finally hold them in our arms.

This is so beautifully written, and touches on everything we felt in losing our middle child. He/she was lost around the 10 week mark. Right as we prepared to tell the world about our blessing. Both the best and worst part of losing our baby was the heartbeat. That beautiful, rhythmic heartbeat that proved he/she was alive but also proved that he/she had left us. I wear an angel charm on my pandora bracelet to represent our baby, but it’s still too hard for me to tell people about it.

Thank you for sharing and making it okay to talk about. It’s amazing to find out how many people have lost as well. But it doesn’t come out until it happens to you. For all out sweet angels, we love you.

Beautifully written! I lost my baby at 9 weeks this past June. I feel like this everyday and sometimes feel like I’m the only one. Thank you for sharing this and letting me know I am not.

So sorry for your loss. Definitely know and understand how you feel. I’ve had 6 miscarriages. 4 before my first child and 2 after her. I thank God for blessing me with the 4 I have now. My losses ranged from 9 -20 weeks. I decided after 4 to seek genetic counseling against my doctors orders. That’s when I found out that I have maternal thrombosis , another words my uterus clots when I’m pregnant.

Beautifully put. Such lovely words. I lost my child at 17 weeks pregnant and my son at 20 weeks pregnant, I understand how hard it is and I am sorry for your loss. Prayers from PA we wil be lighting a candle tonight!
